Gielen has been ten years working at the component of Addiction mental health institution Mondrian. There she began her doctoral studies in 2008.
Natasja: "When I used to numb myself in the past with drugs, I thought that this was normal. That was the "way" to cope live. I knew that something was wrong, why I did this to myself, but nobody wanted to listen to me. Now I know that this is my PTSD and it's all in my head!
I am clean now for 12 years and I'm stronger than ever!!"
